Conformal Coating Removal

In addition to these pieces of industrial process equipment, we also supply conforming coating removal systems. These systems use a hand wand to direct electrostatic discharge (ESD)-controlled abrasive media, typically plastic pellets, at the circuit board to remove the protective conformal coating. Coatings are usually removed when components require repair, rework, or service. This type of system is commonly used for conformal and parylene coating removal on PCBs in the electronics and medical device industries.
